Writing letters to Zoe.A mom writes about pregnancy, childbirth and the journey through it all. Briana A. Meade, a twenty-five year old writer and young mom. I am an early childhood educator and spent my last year teaching first grade at a low-income school in inner city Chicago. My classroom of 32 students was comprised of over 80% ELL students, 99% of whom are from a Hispanic background. In addition to my experiences in Early Childhood, I grew up overseas in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and am familiar with the complexities of growing up amidst two different cultures and identities. A self-identified third-culture kid, I lived in Thailand for 15 years and continue to travel back to visit my family and cultural roots. Currently, I am taking some time off to have my first child-- Zoe, and write. I am a contract resume writer at RezBiz and freelance writer and blogger. I am passionate about the Millenial generation and their role in our new economic reality.
